The master toys license for the TV show Primeval was awarded to Charater Options who also produce a large range of highly successful Doctor Who Toys.
Character have already started making a very impressive range of toys, following closely their Doctor Who ranges, with remote control flying Rex, Carnivorous Pterosaur or Agnurognathus (based on the wowwee dragonfly), a range of Primeval Action Figures, similar to the Doctor Who Action Figures, & other toys like Incursion sets.
Undoubtedly the selection of Primeval toys will grow into quite a large range, & we will keep updating these pages to let you know what has been released & whats likely to be coming out in the future.

New primeval toys
The fantastic four winged flying Rex is a remote controlled toy based on the Character Options / Wowwee dragonfly that has been very successful since its release.
These toys are the very first ones to actually fly like an insect, bird (or flying dinosaur!) does by flapping its wings to achieve flight.
My own kids have had a dragonfly for some time, they are very easy to control & are great fun. They can be recharged from the handheld controller when the batteries in the flying Rex run low.
In the Primeval series, Rex is the team pet, living in Abby's flat, & is a small lizard sized creature called a Coelurosauravus, which are native to the Permian time period.
This is another fantastic four winged flying dinosaur, the Anurognathus which was a small pterosaur from the Late Cretaceous period, around 85 million years ago.
The Anurognathus are able to smell blood from a great distance away, and act in a swarm to overpower their prey. They are similar to the Anurognathus ammoni from the Jurassic period.
Again, these toys are based on the Wowwee radio controlled dragonfly, & have the same features as the primeval Flying Rex.
The plush rex toy is a soft & cuddly version of the friendly Rex character, the team pet that is kept secretly at Abby's flat.
It has poseable legs and makes realistic Rex sounds for added authenticity, and is sure to be a favourite amongst younger Primeval fans. It requires 3 AAA batteries.
This Primeval Deluxe Anomaly Incursion set is designed for use with the 5" action figures
The Time anomaly set consists of an electronic Time Anomaly with lights & special effects sounds, & lenticular prehistoric era's that change when viewed and magnetic areas to attach two special accessories
You also get two deadly carnivorous Hesperonis creatures, perimeter lighting stands, weapons rack & an action figure of Captain Tom Ryan of the Special Elite Unit.
We think this is fantastic value for money!
There are a variety of Primeval 5" action figures already available, & we're sure that this range of toys will grow in a similar way to the Doctor Who Action Figures toys.
